Draft Day 2007

The Steering Committee for the Booster Clubs of the Oakland Raiders hosted its annual Draft Day event on Saturday, April 28, 2007 at Ricky's Sports Theatre and Grill in San Leandro.

This years attendance exceeded last years attendance with 430. Boosters gathered in anticipation to watch as the first time in years the Raiders had the number one draft pick..

The furthest booster club in attendance was York PA, Mr. & Mrs Red Dog made the trip to attend..

Raiders made the A+ grade by selecting JaMarcus Russell as the 1st round draft pick. Raider players in attendance included DT Terrdell Sands, WR Alvis Whitted and S Stuart Schweigart.
