The purposes of the Steering Committee are:

• Be a federation of all officially recognized Raider Booster/Fan Clubs working together to support each other and the Oakland Raiders;
   
• To provide guidance to those wishing to form new clubs;
   
• To establish comraderie, friendship and cooperation among officially recognized Booster/Fan Clubs
   
• To magnify the support the Oakland Raider Team;
   
• The Committee will not supersede or interfere with the purpose and goals of the individual Clubs or their independent charters and leaders;
   
• To serve as a centralized communication Committee - Clubs to Committee - Committee to Raiders - Raiders to Committee and Clubs.

Currently consists of:

• 22 Paid Steering Committee Clubs
• 60 Recognized Booster Clubs
